Campus Leadership

• Ben Milam Elementary has had several school principals throughout the years of serving the community.  Mr. Norman Rozeff from the Harlingen Historical Preservation Society provided the following information:  "The school's first principal was Jerome Fuller, Jr.  He was there through 1966.  By 1969 Ray P. Penrod had become principal.  In 1980 the principal was H. O. Brotzman."  
• Ms. Olga Ochoa, paraprofessional at Milam Elementary, stated that Mr. Amador Galvan was the principal before Dr. Rosalinda Cobarrubias, the past school administrator.  
• Ms. Brenda McKinney was the Milam Elementary principal from 2018-2023.
• Current principal Dr. Irma Davis became took the helm as the Milam school principal in August 2023.
